4 Deaths After Jersey Shore House Fire Ruled Murder-Suicide

LONG BRANCH, N.J. (AP) — Authorities have confirmed that a house fire on the Jersey shore was set on purpose after a man fatally shot his girlfriend, two children and himself.

Monmouth County Acting Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni on Friday officially ruled the deaths of 35-year-old Lyndon Beharry, 29-year-old Amanda Morris, 7-year-old Brandon Beharry and 4-year-old Brian Beharry a murder-suicide.

He says all four were found with gunshot wounds inside a second floor bedroom after the Tuesday fire was extinguished. Lyndon Beharry's was self-inflicted.

The outside of the home showed little fire damage and all of it was confined to the second floor.
