PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Folks at a local senior living facility hold a beauty pageant to celebrate the beauty of their residents.

The "Aging Beautifully" pageant was held in Northeast Philadelphia. Jennifer Anderson, enhanced living coordinator says it's a relatively new tradition.

"This is our second annual beauty pageant to basically honor all the women that live here at Wesley Enhanced Living Burlholme."

She explains the contestants' ages vary

"They range from 70's to actually our oldest contestant is 101 years old."

Julia Rae Schlucter, Miss Philadelphia 2015, officiated the senior pageant asking questions such as, "What advice would you offer to young people?" and "Who do you admire most from history?"

"It's more about just passion and who you are and what you bring to the table as a resident, here."

This year's Miss Burlholme was Florence Rinaldi.

"It's the first time I'm in a pageant, I never was in a pageant in my whole life."
