DA: Teen's Body Discovered On Side Of Road In Chester County; 4 Arrested

By Dan Wing

WEST CHESTER, Pa., (CBS) -- The Chester County District Attorney's office has announced the arrests of four people in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old boy on Thursday night.

The District Attorney's office says the body of 17-year-old Cristian Santiago was found on the side of a road in East Bradford Township just before 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

He had been shot in the chest at close range, and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to officials.

An investigation led authorities to four men, who they say set up a drug deal with the intention of robbing Santiago.

Officials say Onray Winfield allegedly arranged a meeting with Santiago for his friends Gerald Myers, Darrell Woodward and Bryon Stevens, who met Santiago at a gas station in West Chester.

Officials say after getting Santiago in their car, one of the men allegedly shot him in chest. They then allegedly took a quarter ounce of marijuana and $30 from Santiago, whose body was then left in a deserted area.

All four of the suspects are being held without bail, and face charges of conspiracy, murder, robbery and other related offenses.
