LeSean McCoy To Have MRI On Hamstring
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy left practice early on Tuesday with a hamstring injury, the team announced. McCoy, 27, will have an MRI on his hamstring.
"The trainer said that the hamstring's intact, it's not off the bone, so that's real positive," Bills coach Rex Ryan said. "Hopefully it's not a pull, hopefully it's just a strain."
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported on Wednesday that McCoy is expected to be ready to go by Week 1.
In six seasons with the Eagles, McCoy has missed just six games. He has not missed a game since 2012.
The Bills were already without four running backs, before McCoy went out. Veteran RB Fred Jackson (hamstring), Boobie Dixon (calf), Bryce Brown (hamstring) and exciting rookie Karlos Williams (undisclosed) all missed Tuesday's practice.
