Pier Owners Get Go-Ahead To Rebuild Iconic Jersey Shore Roller Coaster
SEASIDE HEIGHTS, NJ (CBS) – Owners of the Seaside Heights Casino Pier have gotten the green light to rebuild their iconic roller coaster.
The roller coaster was part of the widespread damage at the Jersey Shore during Hurricane Sandy nearly three years ago.
The EPA has approved a rebuilding plan that includes the roller coaster and part of the boardwalk.
The roller coaster will be moved about 160 feet from its current location.
