Man Shot Multiple Times During Holmesburg Home Invasion
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police say a man was seriously wounded after he was shot multiple times during a home invasion in the city's Holmesburg neighborhood.
It happened around 5 a.m. in the 4700 block of Oakmont Street.
Authorities say two men entered the home from the rear of the property and shot a man inside three times, twice in his back and once in the shoulder.
The victim was taken to Aria Torresdale Hospital in critical but stable condition.
There was no immediate word on what, if anything, was stolen from the home.
Police are searching for the two men involved.
