COPS: Knife-Wielding Suspect Robs Dunkin' Donuts, Masks Himself With Plastic Bag

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for a suspect accused of robbing a Dunkin' Donuts in South Philadelphia.

Authorities say around 3:30 a.m. on July 6, a man was captured on surveillance video robbing the store on 330 Oregon Avenue with a plastic bag over his head.

Police say the suspect was armed with a knife when he jumped over the counter and allegedly took the cash box containing an unknown amount of money.

The suspect then removed the bag from his head and fled the scene. Authorities say he was last seen headed north through the parking lot towards 5th Street and Oregon Avenue.

No one was injured during the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 20 to 30-years-old, with dirty blonde hair. Authorities say he is about 6'0, 170 lbs and was wearing a gray shirt, tan shorts, white sneakers.
