Video: Cataldi Throws Out First Pitch At Coca-Cola Park

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Ever see Angelo Cataldi throw a baseball? Do you want to?

Cataldi, the popular SportsRadio 94WIP Morning Show radio host, threw out the first pitch at Coca-Cola Park on Tuesday afternoon before the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs hosted the Toledo Mud Hens at 11:35am E.T.

"Juuuuuust a bit outside!"

Cataldi was even out-performed by a youngster.

"How can I come on here and for 11 years harass McNabb about throwing the ball in the ground and when I get my moment, I throw it 40 feet and kill the last worm remaining from the days of Eagles training camp out there!" Cataldi said on Wednesday. "[McNabb] had killed all the rest. There was one adult worm who had made it all the way over to the baseball complex and I killed it with the first pitch."

Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show broadcasted live (5:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.) from Coca-Cola Park Tuesday before the game.

The broadcast was organized in anticipation of seeing pitching prospect Aaron Nola, but the 22-year-old right hander was ironically called up to the big leagues on Friday to pitch for the Phillies on Tuesday night at Citizens Bank Park.
