Police: Suspect Wanted In Connection To Multiple Commercial Burglaries

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police are seeking the help of the public in regards to three commercial burglaries that took place in Philadelphia since May. Police describe the suspect as a White or Hispanic male, bald with a light beard.

Authorities say the first incident took place on May 24. Police say the suspect entered the China House at 3102 G Street and gained entry by pushing in a second story air conditioner.

The suspect was seen on surveillance video taking an unknown amount of money from the cash register in addition to several cartons of cigarettes.

He fled in an unknown direction.

The second incident occurred on June 30. Authorities say the suspect gained entry to the Xin Ying Restaurant at 2403 East Somerset. An unknown amount of cash was also taken in this incident.

Authorities say the third incident took place on July 2. The suspect gained entry to a grocery store at 2750 Emerald Street. An unknown amount of money and cigarettes were also taken in this incident.

Police are asking the public to contact them immediately with any information regarding this suspect.
