Mother Allegedly Pushed To The Ground And Robbed In Front Of Her Young Children In Camden

CAMDEN, NJ (CBS) – Police in Camden are searching for a man who allegedly pushed a mother to the ground and stole her cell phone on a city street.

On June 23, police responded to 3300 Federal Street for reports of a robbery that happened around 3:45 p.m.

A mother was reportedly walking with her young children when she was approached by a man who pushed her to the ground, stole her cell phone and then fled the area.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male who is approximately 6'0" tall with a medium build. That man was wearing a short black shirt with no sleeves and blue shorts. He had several tattoos, including a faded Puerto Rican flag on his left arm, a crown on the back of his neck and a teardrop under his left eye.

The suspect was caught on surveillance video in the area before the robbery occurred.
