Fire Burns On Dunes Near Atlantic City Boardwalk

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (CBS) -- Firefighters battled a small fire Saturday night on the dunes near in boardwalk in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

It happened shortly before 10 p.m. at 1851 Boardwalk between Indiana and Ohio Avenues.

Officials say the brush fire spread several hundred feet feet but did not touch the boardwalk.

Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control in about an hour.

No one was injured.

The cause of the fire in under investigation.
