Van Crashes Into Day Care Center In West Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Crews are investigating after a driver crashed a van into a day care center in West Philadelphia around 10:45 Wednesday morning.
Chopper 3 was over the scene of the accident at The Caring Center on the 3100 block of Spring Garden Street.
Authorities say a Housing Authority driver lost control and slammed into the day care center.
The driver was taken to Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.
Officials say the building was evacuated and no children were hurt.
The day care is closed for the remainder of the day.
