Tall Ships 2015: The Small Ships

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Three smaller vessels have a special role in the Tall Ships Festival. Schooners with names like Serenity, Tree of Life and Hindu will be taking visitors out for sails in the narrow confines of the Delaware River.

John Brady, President of the Independence Seaport Museum explained how.

"The reason they're able to do that as opposed to the tall ships, is that they're very maneuverable," Brady said.

They offer the best way to see the ships from the water.

The Tall Ships Festival will take place on the Delaware River between Philadelphia and Camden from June 25-28.
