By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- The 94WIP Morning Show, in honor of Ruben Amaro Jr. saying Phillies fans "don't understand the game," put together the 26 dumbest comments said by a Philadelphia sports figure on Wednesday.

Here are the 10 best, or dumbest.

10. Cary Williams - Sconces

The ex-Eagles cornerback missed the final day of OTAs in 2013, his first season in Philly. His explanation was hilariously bad.

The quote: "I don't want to sound like it's disrespect. I love my job. I just had to make sure my sconces, my wood was picked out, my fireplace … it was a whole bunch of stuff that was going on."

9. Jonathan Papelbon - Red Sox

At the start of the 2015 season, Phillies closer Jonathan Papelbon expressed his love for his former team and the Phillies' first 2015 opponent---the Red Sox.

The quote: "The Red Sox are a part of who I am. I don't really feel much like a Phillie."

8. Terrell Owens - I'm poor!

Sit-ups in the drive way, helicopters and media on his lawn, we all know the story.

The quote: "I need to feed my family."

The Flyers hosted the Rangers at Citizens Bank Park for the 2012 Winter Classic. Flyers starting goalie Ilya Bryzgalov had been struggling and made the announcement that he will not be starting the game, before then Flyers coach Peter Laviolette had the chance.

The quote: "I have great news and even better news. Great news, I'm not playing tomorrow night. Good news, we have a chance to win the game tomorrow night."

6. Ricky Watters - For who, for what?

16. Ricky Watters
Why are we doing this list anyway? For who, for what?

On September 3rd, 1995, Eagles running back Ricky Watters was asked why he didn't stretch out to catch a pass that would have likely resulted in Watters getting hit hard by a Tampa Bay Bucs defensive player.

The quote: "For who, for what?"

5. LeSean McCoy - Black players

Less than two months after being traded to the Buffalo Bills, former Eagles running back LeSean McCoy talked publicly about his ex-coach Chip Kelly.

The quote: "You see how fast he got rid of all the good players. Especially all the good black players. He got rid of them the fastest. That's the truth."

In 2011, during his introductory press conference with the Eagles, backup quarterback Vince Young was asked to describe the players the Eagles brought-in during free-agency. His answer may have jinxed the entire season.

The quote: "Dream team. Nnamdi [Asomugha] to [Dominique Rodgers-] Cromartie, to Jason [Babin] to myself. I know they are going to do some more things. […] It's just beautiful to see where we're trying to go."

2. Donovan McNabb - There's no tying in football?

The Eagles tied the Bengals late in the 2008 season. McNabb had no idea an NFL game could end in a tie.

The quote: "I've never been a part of a tie. I never even knew that was in the rule book. It's part of the rules, and we have to go with it. I was looking forward to getting the opportunity to get out there and try to drive to win the game. But unfortunately, with the rules, we settled with a tie."

1. Doug Collins - Pray for Andrew Bynum

Andrew Bynum earned $16.9 million dollars as the Sixers center during the 2012-13 season and did not play a game. Not one. He set the franchise back years. However, then Sixers coach Doug Collins thought we should have prayed harder, for the injured knees of Bynum.
