Police: Man Dead, Woman Injured In West Philadelphia Double Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a man is dead and a woman is hospitalized following a shooting in West Philadelphia.
Philadelphia Police say it happened at about 5:24 p.m. Tuesday at the 1500 block of N. Redfield Street.
According to police, a 36-year-old man, identified as Johnny Johnson, was shot in the back. Police say he was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he was later pronounced dead at 6:42 p.m.
Police say a 28-year-old woman was also shot. She was taken to the hospital with a graze wound, where she was treated and released.
Police say no arrests have been made at this time, but they think the shooting stemmed from some sort of argument.
An investigation is ongoing.
