Unique, Handmade Crafts At PA Guild Of Craftsman Art Show In Rittenhouse Square

PHHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Attention last minute Mother's Day shoppers! Today is the last day of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsman fine art and craft show in Rittenhouse Square.
White tents surround the square, each one with unique, handmade crafts for sale. Sharon from Merion is impressed with the selection.
"Some of the woven pieces are really gorgeous." said Merion. "Some of the pottery has been magnificient, beautiful glazes. Gosh! Beautiful jewelry. Everything! There's so many things."
Bill Alburger makes furniture and wall art out of reclaimed lumber and fallen trees.
"I do a lot of mantles." said Alburger. "I do a lot of mirrors. I have had a great reaction. I haven't sold as much as I would have liked to but I have people saying nice things all day long about my art."
Other vendors I spoke with said they were happy for the opportunity to show off their work to people they normally wouldn't meet.
