Police: 2 Females Shot In Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del., (CBS) -- Police are investigating after they say two females were found shot in Wilmington, Delaware.

At about 8:14 p.m. Tuesday, Wilmington Police say units responded to the 600 block of W. 6th Street in reference to shots fired.

According to police, officers located two female victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police say the ages and conditions of the females are not known at this time as the investigation is in the very preliminary stages.

Chopper 3 was over the scene of the hospital where a group of people gathered following the shooting.
