Phillies Open Series With Marlins Tonight At CBP

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- After a woeful 1-6 road trip through New York and Washington, the Phillies are back home tonight to open a six-game homestand with the first of three against the Miami Marlins.

The Phillies are 4-9 here in the early going. That puts them fourth in the five-team National League East. The only team behind them? The Marlins who are really struggling out of gate. They are 3-10 and bring a four-game losing streak into this series opener.

Right-hander Jerome Williams will make his third start of the season for the Phillies. He has gone 0-1 with a 4.09 ERA in his first two. That loss came in his last start in New York against the Mets as he allowed four earned runs on ten hits in five innings of work. This will be just his third career start against the Marlins. He went 0-1 in the first two with an 8.31 ERA, but he hasn't faced the Fish since 2007.

Williams will be matched up with Miami right-hander Dan Haren who is 1-0 after two starts with a 2.08 ERA. He is just 1-5 in ten career starts against the Phillies with a 4.50 ERA.

Here is the Philliles line-up tonight vs. Haren:

1. CF Herrera
2. LF Revere
3. 2B Utley
4. C Ruiz
5. 3B Asche
6. 1B Howard
7. RF Sizemore
8. SS Galvis
9. P Williams
