R.J. Umberger Undergoes Successful Surgery
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- On Thursday night, the Flyers announced that R.J. Umberger underwent successful surgery on Wednesday. Umberger had a procedure done to repair his right hip and bilateral abdominal areas.
Umberger has missed six games for the Flyers and it was previously announced that he would miss up to 10 weeks due to the injury.
Prior to the injury, Umberger had nine goals and six assists through 67 games.
