City Releases Video Of Atlantic City Fire Chief Allegedly Dropping His Pants In Front Of Female Security Guard

By Cleve Bryan

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.(CBS) – Newly released surveillance video appears to support the claim by a female Atlantic City security guard that Fire Chief Dennis Brooks dropped his drawers in front of her.

According to the security guard's attorney Sebastian Ionno the incident happened on March 5th in the lobby of the Public Safety Building.

"She asked him to take the metal out of his pockets. He undid his pants, pulled them down and told her that he was having a bad day," says Ionno.

Eyewitness News obtained a copy of the video through an open records request.

Ionno says the video supports his client's claims that she was subjected to sexual harassment.

"It was clear to me that this was not accidental, it's not as if the chief removed his belt and his pants fell down. It's clear that is was premeditated that he grabbed the sides of his pants and pulled them down," says Ionno whose client is considering a lawsuit depending on the city's response.

Chief Brooks and his attorney did not return attempts for comment after the release of the video.
