Police In Camden County Investigating Attempted Luring

CAMDEN, NJ (CBS) – The Camden County Police Department is investigating an attempted luring that happened over the weekend.

According to police, a group of three juvenile females was walking on the 700 block of Ferry Avenue around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday when the driver of a car stopped at a red light asked them if they wanted to get into his vehicle.

When the girls said no, the suspect pulled over to the curb and yelled at them to get into the car. The girls continued to refuse and said they'd call the police, and the suspect reportedly fled west on Ferry Avenue in his vehicle.

The suspect is described as a stocky black male in his late 30s or 40s with a gray beard. He was wearing a brown jacket and small glasses with rectangular frames.

The vehicle involved is said to be a 2013 black, four-door Dodge wagon with New Jersey license plates C66CHH and registered to Enterprise Holdings of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Anyone with information should call the Camden County Police Department at (856) 757-7042.
