Picture This: Custom-Made Sixers Tank Hat
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- I need this hat.
While many Sixers fans are displeased with general manager Sam Hinkie's strategy to "tank," many of us believe in the process. And if you do believe in what the Sixers are doing, you probably should get some Sixers tank gear, like this custom-made hat.
The hat belongs to 31-year-old Sixers fan, Eric Negron, from Delaware. Sarita Amber, a woman Negron works with, starting making these kind of hats independently. Negron challenged Amber to make the custom Sixers tank hat.
"You make me a tank hat with the Sixers logo and I'll rock the heck out of it," Negron told CBSPhilly.com, he asked Amber.
Well, two weeks later...
...boom. That's exactly what Negron is doing.
Negron says he is in full support of the "tanking" strategy the Sixers, who have actually won two straight games, have adopted.
"It's the right way to do things, unfortunately," Negron said. "I'm on board. Winning three out four isn't helping things, though."
