Blaze In Bucks County Destroys Two-Story Home
NEW BRITAIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) --- A blast from winter and a lack of hydrants caused problems for firefighters battling a house fire in Bucks County Wednesday morning.
The fire, on Curley Mill Road in New Britain Township, started just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
It took more than two hours to bring the flames under control. No one was hurt in the blaze.
The flames destroyed the large, two-story home.
Firefighters say a lack of fire hydrants and sub-freezing temperatures made their jobs a lot harder.
The Bucks County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
