Police: Mother Suspected Of Killing Kids In New Jersey Dies

TABERNACLE, NJ. (CBS) -- New Jersey State Police say the woman suspected of killing her two children before turning the gun on herself has died.

44-year-old Jeannine LaPage died of her injuries Sunday morning at Cooper Medical Center in Camden.

LaPage is accused of using a pillow to muffle the sound of her revolver as she shot her three children then herself inside their Tabernacle, Burlington County home.

Eight-year-old Nadia Harriman and her 14-year-old brother Nicholas Harriman were pronounced dead at the scene.

Their 11-year-old brother, Alexander, was wounded and remains hospitalized in extremely critical condition.

Investigators say the motive for the shootings is still unknown.

The investigation continues.
