Code Blue Weather Advisory Declared In Burlington County

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — The Burlington County Health Department has declared that a Code Blue Cold Weather Emergency will go into effect Thursday night.

The Code Blue will commence at 10 p.m. Thursday, November 20th through 10 a.m. Friday, November 21st.

A Code Blue declaration is made in Burlington County when winter conditions pose a threat of serious harm or death to individuals without shelter. When a Code Blue is enacted it provides for short-term emergency sheltering.

Individuals can call CONTACT of Burlington County at 856-234-8888 or 866-234-5006 for a list of available shelters and additional Code Blue information.

Camden County, N.J. - The Camden County Health Officer has determined there will be "Code Blue" freezing weather conditions effective Wednesday evening, November 19th through Friday, November 21st.

The City of Camden says during evening hours of periods of emergency "Code Blue" conditions, individuals can go to the following locations:

New Life Community Development Corporation 1721 Haddon Avenue Camden, N.J. 08103

The Butterfly Program 720 Washington St. Camden, N.J. 08103

The Butterfly Program 5th and Spruce St Camden, N.J. 08103

Philadelphia, Pa., - A Code Blue issued in the City of Philadelphia on Tuesday, November 18th at 12 p.m. will remain in effect until Friday, November 21st at 8 a.m.
