12-Year-Old Reports Being Forced Into Car At Gunpoint And Sexually Assaulted
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A 12-year-old girl claims she was forced into a vehicle at gunpoint and sexually assaulted.
The alleged assault happened on Nov. 18, 2014 at 8 a.m. on the 3700 block of Lawrence Street in North Philadelphia.
The victim told police she was forced into the car by an armed suspect and driven to the area of 4600 North 7th Street, where she was sexually assaulted.
After the assault, the girl claims the suspect drove her back to 3700 Lawrence and released her.
The suspect is said to be a Latino male in his 30s with a short beard and a light complexion. He was wearing a tan sweater-jacket and operating a four-door burgundy sedan with tinted windows.
An investigation is underway and anyone with information is asked to call police.
