Weather: A Warm Day For Fall!

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Get back on your trees, leaves! Don't put away the sunscreen just yet. The Delaware Valley is not ready to submit to the colder weather just yet.
Highs on Tuesday will run several degrees above average, and it will feel closer to early October than early November. It's going to be a dry day as well, so there's no excuse not to get out and vote!
Wednesday will be a transition day. A weak cold front will be responsible for more clouds, and although we will see some sun especially early on in the day, you can expect a generally grayer sky by the PM hours. Temperatures will remain mild.
Thursday brings the next threat of rain, with showers likely throughout the day. Chillier temperatures arrive in the wake of this wet weather.

On this date in weather history...
1950 - An F3 tornado skipped from the Neighborville-Reamstown area, to Adamstown and Tuckerton in Berks County. Damaging or destroying 14 buildings.
1970 - Twenty years later, an F2 tornado touched down during the afternoon in Atlantic County. There was a heavy hailstorm at Point Pleasant Beach in Ocean County, with 2 1/2" of accumulation.
