NFL Analyst Ross Tucker: 'Eagles Could Make Super Bowl Run'

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Despite injuries to key players, inconsistent quarterback play, and the most turnovers committed by any NFL team (20), the Eagles find themselves 6-2 and in first place in the NFC East. A lot of credit goes to head coach Chip Kelly.

"It's really, really impressive which gets you excited about where the Eagles can go when they are healthy, when they do have a quarterback playing at a high level, I really think the sky is the limit and there's no team in the NFC that would really get me scared right now if I were the Eagles," NFL Analyst Ross Tucker told the 94WIP Morning Show. "I mean, Arizona has the best record. Is anybody  really worried if the Eagles had to play Arizona in the playoffs?"

While fans might be thinking it, Tucker mentioned the Eagles and those highly desired two words in the same sentence.

"There's not a team in the NFC that I'd be scared about for the Eagles," Tucker continued. "I think it's important that they get a bye. I think it's important that they try to get home-field advantage, but no, I mean Detroit, Green Bay, New Orleans, Arizona, Seattle, they're all imminently beatable. If [Mark] Sanchez can play close to how [Nick] Foles was playing last year, this could actually be the year for the Eagles. Eagles could actually make a run this year. I know people are looking ahead, but this could be the year where they actually make a Super Bowl run."
