Weather: Back to Summer?!

By Geoff Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Any early morning fog and/or clouds will give way to some sunshine for the remainder of the day on Tuesday. The major story is that it's going to feel downright warm! Highs will approach 80 in many spots.

The clouds will build back in tonight but it will stay unseasonably mild through tomorrow. A slow moving cold front will approach later in the day, and rain with it is expected to last through at least midday on Thursday before skies clear out. Skies will then clear out just in time for the weekend, with more average temperatures returning as well.

In the tropics, Gonzalo continues to strengthen while recurving to the northeast. Bermuda sits dangerously in the forecasted track of this storm. Vacationers or those with family or friends there should monitor this storm closely. It will pose no direct threat to the U.S. mainland.
