NJ Man Convicted In Robbery, Attack At Father's Home

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — A southern New Jersey man has been convicted on several charges stemming from an armed robbery and assault at his father's home.

Camden County prosecutors say 21-year-old Justin Angelino, of Voorhees, now faces a lengthy prison term.

Angelino was recently convicted of armed robbery, aggravated assault, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and a weapons offense. He faces up to 20 years in prison on the armed robbery charge alone.

Prosecutors say Angelino and another man were accused of entering the Voorhees home of Angelino's father's in November 2012, planning to steal money and other items.

Angelino's father was sleeping in his bed when the pair entered the home. He was attacked and stabbed numerous times, suffering injuries to his head, face, arms and body.
