Camden Man Admits Role In Heroin Distribution Ring

CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a southern New Jersey man has admitted his involvement in a heroin distribution ring.

Keenan Johnson faces up to 40 years in prison after pleading guilty Friday to conspiring to distribute more than 100 grams of heroin. He also will forfeit $52,380 seized from his home, as well as four vehicles, jewelry and a Glock 26 9mm semi-automatic handgun.

The 30-year-old Camden resident will be sentenced Jan. 16.

Prosecutors say that between December 2007 and June 2012, Johnson conspired with others to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute the drug.
