Police Release Sketch Of Suspect Wanted For Assault In Wissahickon Park

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police have released a sketch of the suspect wanted in connection with an assault in Wissahickon Park.

The assault happened around 5:30 p.m. last Friday on a trail near the 600 block of Gatehouse Lane in Chestnut Hill.

Police say the suspect pushed a 51-year-old woman to the ground in an attempt to rob and rape her. The woman was able to break free and call police.

The suspect is described as a black male between 25 and 30 years old, 6-feet tall, who was wearing a red polo-style shirt with white writing, a baseball cap and tan pants.
