Car Crashes Into Wildwood Water Works Building

MIDDLE TWP., (CBS) – The driver of a vehicle lost control Sunday morning and crashed into the Wildwood Water Works Pumping Station.

This happened around 6 a.m. at the station on Route 47 in Middle Township.

Police say 25-year-old Stanley Lovett lost control of his car and slammed into the front door of the building. He didn't suffer any serious injuries.

Officials say the 104-year-old station remains open and water service was not disrupted to customers in the Wildwoods.

Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
