PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- If you don't know the name Mo'ne Davis, you probably should. Already receiving tweets from sports celebrities like Magic Johnson and Russell Wilson after her complete-game shutout win over Delaware in the Mid-Atlantic Final, Davis challenged star Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw to a "pitch off."

Kershaw responded to Davis saying, "Hey Mo'ne, just wanted to say congratulations on making it Williamsport. That's awesome, such a cool thing for you to get to do. Such a fun opportunity and I heard you're ready for a pitch off. I don't know exactly what that means, but I'm prepared. I'm ready for whenever you can make it out to LA, just let me know."

Davis and her Center City Philadelphia Taney Dragons begin Little League World Series play Friday at 3:00pm E.T. against South Nashville (Southeast) on ESPN.
