PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Not much detail to go into here, because it’s yet another stunning summer weekend in the Delaware Valley!

With high pressure overhead, the weekend will be sunny and gorgeous with highs holding in the mid 80’s. Our next chance for significant wet weather in the forecast will not be until next Wednesday, and that should clear quickly, setting the stage for more nice days.

The clear viewing conditions this weekend will be perfect for seeing the Supermoon, the largest and brightest full moon of the year. It will be full on Sunday afternoon, so Sunday night will be the best time to get out and view it. We also have the Perseids meteor shower peaking Sunday through Wednesday, but unfortunately, the bright light of the Supermoon will make the meteors tough to see!
