Computerized Medical Records Subject To Cyber Attacks

By Dr. Brian McDonough, Medical Editor

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - More and more hospitals are becoming computerized and the revolutionary changes are great for healthcare but two articles in the New England Journal of Medicine suggest that many of these hospitals will need to turn to what is called cyberdefense in an effort to defend patient confidentiality and respect their medical history and potentially damaging information.

This is a very important issue.
