PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Dom Giordano spoke with Carol Schlaepfer on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT. Schlaepfer participated in protests to block buses of immigrants attempting to reach a Border Patrol processing facility in Murrieta, California.
Schlaepfer claims immigrants are having a detrimental effect on the quality of life for Americans living near the border.
“Living in a border state and having our communities inundated with illegal immigration issues and problems, especially in Pomona, where I live, we probably have 25,000 illegal immigrants who are protected. We’re a sanctuary city. What happens is all of the power goes to them and the power is taken away from the American citizen. We pay, they enjoy.”
She worries that people migrating from and through Mexico are bringing diseases and the Obama Administration is covering it up.
“This President has threatened arrest of our Border Patrol agents or anyone else leaking information. Our public officials are not giving us any information on the health of these children. These children are bringing in diseases that we have eradicated decades ago, including polio and tuberculosis and scabies.”
