2 Shot, One Fatally, In Frankford
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating after two people were shot, one fatally, in the Frankford section of Philadelphia Thursday night.
Around 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, police responded to the 5200 block of Akron Street for reports of shots fired.
Police found two 25-year-old males shot, one in the chest twice and one in the leg.
Both victims were taken to Temple University Hospital, where the victim shot in the chest was pronounced dead.
The other man is in stable condition.
Police have not made any arrests.
