PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Folks are invited to BYOB Thursday night to a popular Ben Franklin Parkway green space.

Sister Cities Park is the site of the Center City District’s summertime program “Pairings on the parkway.”

“Pairings on the parkway is an event held weekly, every Thursday night from 5-8 featuring BYOB, a singer/songwriter/performer and a BBQ style menu provided by Logan Square Cafe,” David Wagaman said. He’s the owner of Logan Square Cafe at Sister Cities Park.

He says so far, the event has been a lot of fun.

“People brought their own blankets, we have tables and chairs set up, however you want to do it. Bring your family, lay down a blanket, bring your own bottle of wine, remember to bring your corkscrew to open the bottle and you’ll be fine.”
