2 Suspects Arrested In Connection With Havertown Township Bank Robbery

HAVERTOWN TOWNSHIP, Pa. (CBS) – Haverford Township police have arrested two suspects in connection with a bank robbery in Havertown Township.

The robbery occurred at the Santander Bank in the Manoa Shopping Center around 2 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the investigation revealed that the suspects entered the bank and displayed a note which implied that they had a weapon to the bank teller. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, they walked out of the bank.

Officers conducted a full scale search through Havertown for the suspects, using multiple K-9 to help the investigation.

Linwood Elementary was temporarily put on lockdown as a precaution, but it has since been lifted.

Authorities were able to locate the suspects and they are now in police custody.

It is unclear how much money the suspects got away with.

There were no reported injuries.

Police say Vincent Buce, 37, of Philadelphia, was charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Keith Buce, 33, homeless, was charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest.

Both are being held at the Haverford Township Police Department awaiting arraignment.
