PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Phillies are down in Florida and tonight they will open a three-game series with the Marlins.

The Phillies are 19-22 for the season, tied for fourth place in the National League East with the Mets, four games behind first-place Atlanta. The Fightins’ bring a bit of momentum into this series after winning two-straight over the Reds over the weekend at Citizens Bank Park.

A.J. Burnett will get the start for the Phillies in this series opener. He is 2-3 here in 2014 and coming off losses in his last two starts. Last time out he dropped a 3-0 decision to the Angels, needing 113 pitches to get through five innings.

Burnett spent seven seasons with the Marlins from 1999-2005. He has made only three career starts against his old team, going 1-1 with a 1.96 ERA.

The Marlins will counter on the mound with young right-hander Anthony DeSclafani. This will be his second Major League start. His first came last week as he beat the Dodgers in Los Angeles, allowing two runs in six innings of work.

Miami is coming off an 11-game California road trip, during which they went 4-7. Overall this season the Marlins are 23-22. They are third in NL East, two games out.

This is the second series between these two teams this season. Phillies swept the first in South Philadelphia last month.

The Phillies line-up for tonight looks like this:

1. Jimmy Rollins            SS
2. Carlos Ruiz               C
3. Chase Utley              2B
4. Ryan Howard            1B
5. Marlon Byrd              RF
6. Cody Asche              3B
7. Domonic Brown         LF
8. Tony Gwynn Jr.         CF
9. A.J. Burnett               P
