Police Investigate Home Invasion Robbery In Mayfair

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Police are searching for two suspects who broke into a home and assaulted and then robbed the homeowner in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened around 1 a.m. Monday along the 4300 block of Vista Street in the city’s Mayfair section.

Police say two men broke into the residence, ransacked the house, handcuffed and pistol-whipped the homeowner and then robbed him of a handgun, his wallet and cell phone before running off.

The victim suffered minor injuries, but was not hospitalized.
