Parishioners Chase Man Who Stole Church Donations In Camden
CAMDEN, N.J. (AP) — Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing donations from a New Jersey church.
Delvonte Olmo-Pagan of Camden is held on $960,000 bail, charged with robbery, aggravated assault by pointing a firearm and weapons charges.
Officials say the 20-year-old pointed a gun at a church worker outside St. Anthony of Padua Church in Camden, took a bag containing collections and fled on Sunday.
Authorities say he dropped the bag when he was chased by others.
It's not known if he has a lawyer.
