Social Media Today: Twitter teams with Amazon, Vine Site Revamp, Most Followed Brands

By Melony Roy

Twitter teams up with Amazon

Starting today, Twitter users can link their Amazon accounts and automatically add items their shopping cart by replying to a tweet that has an Amazon product link and adding the hashtag #AmazonCart.

Customers never leave the Twitter feed, and the product is waiting for them when they head over to Amazon.

Vine revamps site

Vine has debuted a new look for its website. Previously, Vine pushed users to register or sign in before they could use the site, but now anyone can check out those six second videos.

There’s also a prominent search bar at the top of the screen to help you find specific content.
