PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The cold front that brought the showers both Saturday and Sunday afternoons has moved through the Delaware Valley.  Gusty Northwest winds are bringing in a cooler and drier air mass for the start of the week.

The average high temperature for this time of year is around 70 degrees.  Monday & Tuesday’s highs will be slightly below average in the mid to upper 60s with sunshine.

There will be some changes around mid week as a warm from approaches the region.  More clouds will begin to arrive later Wednesday and Thursday as the front approaches.  There will be a chance for some showers on Thursday, as the front pushes through.  Highs on Wednesday and Thursday will be closer to average around 70 degrees.

Behind the front, a very wam air mass will arrive on Friday.  If enough sunshine breaks out, we will make a run at 80 degrees.
