8 Students Suffer Minor Injuries In School Bus Crash In Yeadon

YEADON, Pa. (CBS) — Eleven people, including eight students, suffered minor injuries in a crash involving a school bus in Delaware County Friday morning.

The crash happened at about 8:35 a.m. at the intersection of Church Lane and Darnell Avenue in Yeadon.

According to investigators, the school was traveling eastbound on Darnell Avenue, attempting to cross Church Lane, when a pick-up truck crashed into the right side of the school bus.

Authorities say eight elementary school students, as well the driver of the school bus and the driver a passenger in the pick-up truck were taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.

The bus was from the William Penn School District.

The accident remains under investigation.
