Del. Police Searching For Serial Bank Robber

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware say they're searching for a man believed responsible for three bank robberies and an attempted bank robbery.

The first robbery happened on March 10 at the M&T Bank in the Astro Shopping Center around 9:06 a.m. The suspect reportedly entered the bank and presented a demand note to two female tellers, who complied with his demands and turned over cash. The suspect then fled the scene.

On April 18th at 11:20 a.m. the same suspect reportedly entered the PNC Bank at 4725 Kirkwood Highway and presented a demand note to the teller. In that case, the suspect fled without any money, but shortly thereafter, he entered the Delaware First Federal Credit Union at 1815 Newport Gap Pike and showed a demand note to two tellers there. Those tellers complied and handed the suspect cash. He then fled.

Finally, a fourth incident happened April 30th at the PNC Bank in Greenville around 11:15 a.m. Police say the suspect entered the bank and demanded cash. The tellers complied and he fled the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5'6" and 5'8" tall and about 130-140 lbs. He's believed to be 30-35 years old.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call police.
