PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Mark Sanchez was a lightning rod in New York during his time with the Jets. Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman doesn’t think that will change now that Sanchez is with the Eagles.

“Mark Sanchez is not the guy,” Stockman told TMZ. Stockman is a 49ers fan, but says he knows the sports climate in Philadelphia all too well.

“He’s just going to go into Philly, and get cussed out. Cause, if anybody knows anything about Philly radio, it’s no holds barred. They go in. So, I can imagine what they’re talking about in Philly radio right now. We love our sports. I’m not an Eagles fan, but every other sport, I’m all Philly. Flyers, Phillies, Sixers.”

Sanchez signed with the Eagles to compete for the backup quarterback position with fellow USC alumnus Matt Barkley.
