Platt Bridge Reopened After Earlier Crash
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- An accident involving a taxi shutdown both lanes of the Platt Bridge for about an hour Tuesday morning.
The accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the Platt Bridge.
According to investigators, the accident involved a taxi cab. It was not immediately known if there were other cars involved.
There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
As a result of the accident, crews were forced to close the eastbound lanes as well. The lanes were reopened at about 7:30 a.m., but a residual traffic back-up remained.
The accident remains under investigation.
