Camden Man Arrested On Sexual Assault, Weapons Charges

CAMDEN, NJ (CBS) -– Police have arrested and charged a man in the sexual assault of a woman inside a clubhouse in Camden, New Jersey.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. Thursday at the Wheel of Soul clubhouse in the 800 block of Princess Avenue.

Police say 34-year-old Antoywayn Lindsey of Camden forced a woman into a room and sexually assaulted her while threatening her with a gun.

The victim later escaped and was located by police.

Authorities say Lindsey was arrested later that morning at the clubhouse. During the arrest, police found two loaded handguns in his possession.

Lindsey was charged with a total of 10 offenses, including Aggravated Sexual Assault, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and Kidnapping.

Lindsey was remanded to the county jail on $400,000 cash bail.
